Full disclosure: I do not think I had settled on a name for Dexter until after I had started publishing this comic. I may have been midway through writing chapter 2 when I thought of the naming convention Dexter’s mom used to name her children. So at this point I’m pretty sure they were still named Hubert. This is one of the big advantages of publishing a chapter that’s already done and dusted vs. posting it as you’re doing it. Which… That’s every chapter after chapter 3, except maybe chapter 8?
